Stock market wild ride expected to continue.

Aug 25 2015, 2:24 pm ET

The opposing forces of economic sentiment that briefly drove U.S. stocks down more than 1,000 points in early trading Monday, then took investors on a wild roller-coaster ride for the remainder of the session, were hardly dissipated by their exertions, most experts say. Minus some firm signal from overseas markets, the tumult is likely to continue on Tuesday.

Fed will launch another Quantitative Easing round.

Aug 25, 2015 3:12 p.m. ET

Given the recent gyrations of the markets, it would not at all be surprising to see the Fed upgrade Quantitative Easing to assist the American economy.

Ray Dalio, founder of the world’s largest hedge fund, is predicting that the Federal Reserve will launch a fresh round of quantitative easing rather than tightening at its coming policy meeting in September.

The Bull Market can’t last without Fed.

Jun 20, 2014 @ 1:29 PM

What has kept a fraudulent market up all this time? The Fed, pouring 85 billion a month, into the market. They callit, “Quantitative Easing.” (QE).

The moment of truth for the stock market  is close is hand. That’s because the Fed’s tapering off of bond and mortgage purchases is winding down. In three months or so I believe the Fed will no longer be practicing its vaunted Quantitative Easing program to keep interest rates low and push the value of common shares higher. As I wrote in October, it was only in the weeks that QE was active from 2009 on and the Fed was buying that stocks roared ahead. When the Fed was out of the bond market, the stock market softened.
